Train the part of fighting your gym can't.
FightIQ is a cognitive performance app for boxers, MMA athletes and combat-sport coaches. Score the five mental fundamentals — reaction, memory, accuracy, focus, awareness — then train the next weakness.
One number for the part of fighting you can't see.
The Fight IQ Score is a composite of five cognitive metrics, weighted to how each one shows up in the ring. It moves with you, week over week, and gives you something concrete to train against.
- Score across reaction, memory, accuracy, focus & awareness — each backed by 4–6 dedicated drills.
- Confirmed global rank — with weekly delta and an all-time peak.
- "Today's recommendation" — always trains your current weakest metric.
Drills that target the next weakness.
A library of five cognitive drills, each one mapped to one of the metrics: Reaction Targets, Combo Memory, Stroop, Fight Math and the Schulte Table. Today's plan picks the right one for you.
- Daily training plan — 5 drills, calibrated to your level and trend.
- Five-drill library — Reaction Targets, Combo Memory, Stroop, Fight Math & Schulte Table.
- Fatigue Mode — a 5×3 Heavy Bag protocol with rest-drill cognitive work stitched in.
The fight clock, properly designed.
A gym-grade round timer that lives next to your training. Real presets for Boxing, Heavy Bag and MMA, custom rounds, and a Fatigue Mode protocol that interleaves cognitive drills into the rest periods.
- Boxing 3×3 · Heavy Bag 5×3 · MMA 5×5 presets, plus a custom builder.
- Configurable bells, warnings & haptics.
- 5×3 Fatigue Mode protocol — train cognition while your heart rate is high.
Climb the rankings.
Three takes on the same number: where you sit globally, where you sit in your weight band, and who is moving fastest this week. Verified scores are flagged so the leaderboard stays honest.
- Global, Weight Band & Weekly Movers — the three boards every fighter checks.
- Confirmed vs. Unverified — badges keep scores credible.
- Position deltas — track who is climbing into your tier.

Tap a metric and you get its current score, its weight in your Fight IQ, a six-session trend, your personal best, and the drills that move it. No marketing — just the inputs that change the number.
- Live score & metric weight — e.g. Accuracy at 570, weighted 20%.
- Six-session trend and all-time personal best.

Inside the system
Plain-English first. Click any line for the deeper engineering layer — kept off the homepage so the brand story stays clear.
How the Fight IQ Score is calculated
A weighted composite of five metric scores, each one computed from the most recent six rated drill sessions on a Glicko-2 style rating system. Weightings are tuned per discipline (boxing, MMA, kickboxing) and per band (novice → elite).
Drill engine & calibration
Each drill exposes a difficulty curve. We sample current performance against a target percentile, then nudge difficulty up or down so most attempts land in the 60–80% zone — the band where measurable learning happens.
Fatigue Mode protocol
A 5×3 heavy-bag protocol with the rest periods replaced by short cognitive drills. Heart-rate awareness is approximated from session timing — no medical-grade reading is implied or required.
Score verification
Scores can be flagged Confirmed (gym-witnessed or coach-approved) or Unverified. The leaderboard shows both, with badges that make the difference visible — credibility lives at the data layer, not in copy.
Stack
SwiftUI & Jetpack Compose on the client. Rust workers behind a Postgres event log. Telemetry on PostHog. Models for difficulty calibration trained on anonymised drill data; no biometrics leave the device.
